Why did I suffer such massive losses in Battle?

The outcome of any Battle is determined by the overall Defensive / Offensive strength on either side of the conflict.

Factors influencing Defensive and Offensive strength could be:

• The number of Units sent to the Battle
• Bonuses applied to Units (Unit Enhancers, Crystals, etc.)
• The defending side’s Castle Defense Bonus, if the Battle takes place at a Castle
• Reinforcements sent by other Lords
• League Effects and other Bonuses from the League Fortress

There are also a range of other factors that will influence strength on both sides of a battle, meaning that results can be unpredictable.
